Welcome!

If you are struggling with some aspects of daily life due to ageing, a medical condition or a mental health issue, or if you are concerned about a loved one, you have come to the right place.

Free Consultation

I offer a free, 30-minute, no obligation consultation, available face-to-face, online or by telephone.

This is your opportunity to share your needs and discover how I can best support you.

If it feels right, we can book our first session, but there will be no pressure to do so.

Who I work with

Some of the life challenges I work with include:

  • Ageing-related issues, such as falls, loss of confidence, isolation, loss of independence etc.
  • Palliative and terminal conditions.
  • Consequences of cancer and its treatments.
  • Long-term conditions including fatigue, MS, Parkinsons, and Arthritis among others.
  • Mild to moderate mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.

Where I work

Generally, our sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. However, if other environments are important to you and your goals, we may also arrange some sessions there. This might be a workplace or leisure space for example.

I also offer online consultations to ensure accessibility and convenience.

My approach

My approach is rooted in a collaborative partnership with you because you know how your condition affects you better than any one. Following an in-depth assessment, we will focus together on what matters most to you, identify your goals and develop bespoke strategies and interventions to help you achieve them.  We may use coaching strategies to enable you to take an active role in your rehabilitation process.  This is about you, so you remain at the centre of the process throughout.

How I can help you

Interventions and treatments may include:

  • Problem solving and practical advice
  • Functional rehabilitation
  • Strategies to manage specific symptoms or conditions, including fatigue management, anxiety management and falls prevention work
  • Equipment and adaptations recommendation
  • Support of carers
  • Signposting and referrals to other professionals
  • etc

Advance Care Planning

I feel very privileged to be able to support individuals and families with the sensitive conversations and difficult decisions about planning for the end of life. People often report that a weight has lifted once this work has been done as they can lay questions to rest. I do not offer legal advice but help individuals consider what their needs might be, explore how they might want to manage these and discuss these decisions and the documents involved with their families.

What is the cost?

I charge £70 per hour which includes printed resources as needed.

Travel time and mileage may be added to this fee depending on where you live but this will be made clear to you beforehand.

I can also provide professional reports on request.
